
Andy High
Regional Manager
William “Andy” High serves as Regional Manager for Legacy Funeral Group, overseeing locations across Alabama and Florida. With more than two decades of experience in the funeral and cemetery profession, Andy is proud to support the teams and communities served by Legacy Funeral Group with integrity, compassion, and commitment.
A native of Florence, Alabama, Andy grew up on a cattle farm in western Lauderdale County and is a graduate of Waterloo High School. He began his career in funeral service in 1999 as an apprentice while attending the University of North Alabama, later earning an Associate of Applied Science in Funeral Service Education from Jefferson State Community College in 2003. Andy is licensed through the International Conference of Funeral Service Examining Boards and is a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer in the state of Alabama.
Throughout his career, Andy has held a wide range of leadership roles, including Funeral Director and Embalmer, Funeral Home Manager, Cemetery General Manager, Senior General Manager, Area Vice President, and now Regional Manager with Legacy Funeral Group. In addition to his professional leadership, Andy was elected County Coroner for Lauderdale County, Alabama, in 2006—becoming the youngest coroner ever elected in the state—and served three consecutive terms from 2007 to 2019.
Outside of his professional work, Andy is a licensed rabbit judge with the American Rabbit Breeders Association and has judged competitions in more than 40 states.
